Vera says: “The presentation looks at some of the archaeological sites by the River Hamble. They have been selected for their diversity, to show the range of sites on the river in terms of their age and what they are. Some have been chosen for the interesting story they have to tell about how we came to identify them and/or how they came to be on the Hamble. The older sites are covered first, with more recent sites towards the end”.
