Find out how archaeologists record the wreck of the Caduceus, built in 1857 and lost in 1881 during a gale. The Caduceus was a sailing barque, and was probably a composite ship. Composite ships were made of wooden planks covering an iron frame. The wreck is located by Chichester Folds (Hayling Island). This footage was collected in 2013.
